AutoCrafter
Overview
The AutoCrafter plugin is designed for players who have invested significant time in creating resource farms but find manual crafting to be a tedious task. Unlike the default crafting block in the game, this plugin provides a separate and more efficient autocrafter system that automates the crafting process, allowing players to focus on other aspects of the game. With AutoCrafter, you can automatically convert raw resources into usable items without interacting directly with a workbench.
Key Features
Automatic Crafting: Automate the process of crafting items without manual intervention.
Customizable Crafting Blocks: Configure droppers as crafting blocks to handle crafting automatically.
Input and Output Containers: Easily set up containers to feed ingredients and collect crafted items.
Getting Started
Who Should Use This Plugin?
AutoCrafter is ideal for players who:
Run large-scale farms that produce abundant resources.
Want to automate the crafting process to save time.
Prefer focusing on gameplay rather than manual crafting.
What Does This Plugin Do?
AutoCrafter implements an automatic crafting system, removing the need for players to manually craft large quantities of items. By configuring a dropper as a crafting block, players can automate the crafting process by specifying recipes and providing raw ingredients. The crafting block will handle the rest, converting ingredients into crafted items and placing them in the designated output container.
Setting Up AutoCrafter
Configuring a Crafting Block
Create a Crafting Block:
Place an item frame on a dropper.
Place a crafting table in the item frame.
The item frame will become invisible, transforming the dropper into a crafting block.
Set Up Containers:
Output Container: Place a container (e.g., chest, barrel, shulker box, hopper) in front of the dropper. This container will store the crafted items.
Input Container: Place a container on the side of the dropper opposite the output container. This container will supply the crafting block with the necessary ingredients.
Configuring the Crafting Recipe
Interact with the Crafting Block:
Right-click on the crafting block to open the workbench GUI.
Set the Recipe:
Arrange the ingredients in the crafting block's inventory as you would in a regular crafting table.
Close the inventory without taking the crafted item from the result slot.
Automatic Crafting:
The crafting block will now automatically attempt to craft the specified item every crafting tick (default: 20 game ticks).
If successful, the crafted item will be placed in the output container. If there’s no space in the output container, crafting will be paused.
Visual Feedback:
Each time an item is crafted, the crafting table in the item frame will rotate clockwise, indicating that the crafting block is active.
Removing the crafting table from the item frame will revert the crafting block back to a normal dropper.
Special Behavior with Trapped Chests
If the ingredients container is a trapped chest, the crafting block will not pull the last item from any slot. This feature is useful for reserving slots for specific ingredients, preventing a single ingredient from monopolizing the chest's storage.
